Shortages and Crises
June 25, 2008
That the world is in a time of shortage and crises and many are suffering is without dispute. The answers the “experts” give for this are basic – supply and demand with associated costs, natural disasters, changing cultures, adapting marketplaces, and shrinking resources. Yet the “experts” by in large are ideologically driven rather than truth based. Behind every assumption, every model, and every theory is the theory, or better lie, of evolution!
Romans 1:21-23
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Because the main political, educational, and approved thought is founded in the false religion of evolutionary thought, then those that make policy can only see a world that may collapse at any moment. Shortages and crises are the blessing and abundance (result) of their faith. Evolution teaches survival of the fittest and so all that they do to honor their god creates shortage for most while retaining privilege for the few – those deemed fittest to survive! (This is why abortion is a huge part of their faith and genetic predicting and engineering will be an even larger part in the future. In modern evolutionary thought man is the least fit to live on this earth and should therefore be controlled – especially as some are even less worthy to live than others.) Because their faith seeks to conform reality to theory they reject all practical truth and reason. As their faith rejects God then they reject His Word as well. Since they reject His Word they reject His Son. If the Son is rejected then there is no hope for man, there is no promise for man, and there is no plan for this earth whether now or in that which is to come. This attitude results in fear and greed. The world is reaping the result of their religion which technically is not a faith but rather is a lack of faith resulting in unbelief!
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Colossians 1:15-17
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
In Christ all things hold together! There is always enough in Christ. Yet if man follows the lies and deceptions of satan, there can only be shortage, need and death! (John 10:10)
As world leaders follow the unbelief that is called evolution, they cannot see that God has adequately supplied this world any more than they can see that because of unbelief God’s judgment must come upon the very world that they are foolishly trying to save! (See John 3:16-21) So great is their hatred of God that even when judgment does come upon the earth and His wrath is being poured out they will still curse God rather than believe Him! (See Revelation 16:8-11, and 21)
As men war against God then men suffer and with mankind the very earth that these unbelievers are trying to save suffers as well! Yet nature is aware enough to long for the overthrow of the ungodly and unbelieving and for the believing or the sons of God to appear as the rulers of this world! (Romans 8:19-21)
What is the believer to do if the godless rule? (On a practical note, where voting is possible we should vote for and support those that uphold and adhere to the principles of faith in God – not those that claim faith but those that act in and on faith and we should pray for Godly governments that believe the full Gospel!) Yet how do we who know that God will sustain the world and has abundance for the world survive while under the godless and destructive rule of the unbelieving?
We trust in God and depend on His promise in Christ rather than the solutions of man.
John 16:23
In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
As believers we look past what we see, hear beyond all reports and we trust in God as we live by faith!
Habakkuk 2:4, 3:17-19 (Amplified Version)
Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him, but the [rigidly] just and the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall live by his faith and in his faithfulness. [Rom 1:17; Gal 3:11.] 17 Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [Rom 8:37.] 19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
