Energy, Finances, Food, Nature, and War
A New Season
Mark 13:5-8
Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
Mark 13:28-31
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. 30 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”
There have been many times when we have noted changes in Prophetic seasons. Two of the most notable have been the establishment of the nation of
This month, September 2008, we have had several earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, typhoons, continued droughts, and many other worldwide weather related events. Energy needs are still front page news. Food supplies and the resulting costs are edging many countries to riots and governmental collapse.
All events point to and set up the world structure needed to allow one man to rise to world dominance.
- While the events of nature are signs, they are forces being used to overwhelm governments and aid organizations to the point of bankruptcy and failure.
- Energy demands are increasing and while this hurts in every area, especially in food supplies and the preservation of capital, this has also opened the door to the next wave of world control, combating Global Warming. To do this governments will take more and more energy decisions out the hands of the market and one more piece of the puzzle is in place. (Just the production of ethanol has helped to cause food shortages and increased food prices worldwide!)
- When people do not have food they will embrace any leader that will feed them.
Russia or Magog (Ezekiel 38 and 39), has reasserted her military presence in the world and shown herself again ready to do battle to accomplish her plans of a world empire. With the unchallenged move of Russia into Georgian territories, aggressive states around the globe see that while the West talks loud, we will not go to war against strong powers. This makes a leader that can bring peace all the more appealing.
- We must always watch
Israel. Will a new leader continue to lean toward appeasement and compromise while seeking to please the Europe and the U. S., or will the new leader be more aggressive and confrontational with the Palestinians? Either way will help to set up the need of one world leader to make peace and offer his forces as protection.
- Money makes the world go round! If there is no money there is nothing. If there is little confidence in financial markets and the value of the dollar collapses, then the world economy collapses. This causes governments and banking concerns to grip control more tightly. As there is no solution that will seem acceptable to both entities, then the need for a true one world economy controlled by one currency will grow. When this solution fails as will the answers to food supplies and energy needs, then a complete control over all buying and selling, commodities and trade will be seen as necessary.
So far this month we have taken giant steps to a one world government headed up by one ruler. Summer is very near. It is a new season in the world; both in the natural and in the Spirit.
Mark 13: 26-27, 32, 35-37
“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 35 Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back-whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”
